1. Who is the controller

Kuji Connect Ltd is the controller for your account data. For event-specific data, the event organiser is the controller and Kuji Connect acts as processor.

2. What we collect

  • Account: name, email, password hash, profile photo, bio.
  • Event memberships: events you join, sessions you attend, sponsor engagements.
  • Networking: connections you make, notes you save against members.
  • Technical: device, browser, IP, app analytics.

3. Legal bases

We rely on contract (running your account), consent (per-event networking, sponsor leads, marketing), and legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement).

4. Your GDPR rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, port your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Manage these from Privacy & data.

5. Sharing

We share data with event organisers you have opted in to, sponsors when you engage with them, and service providers (hosting, email, analytics) under strict data-processing terms. We never sell your data.

6. Retention

Profile data is retained while your account is active. Deletion is immediate when you ask. Anonymised consent audit records are retained for up to 6 years to meet regulatory obligations.

7. International transfers

Data is processed in the UK and EEA. Any transfer outside these regions uses Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

8. Complaints

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local supervisory authority.
